Listen to Episode 54…Interrogating the Suspects at Indian Springs

With guides Richie Ferrara and Maxwell, the Trippers head to Punta Gorda and Indian Springs Cemetery, an infamously haunted location in Charlotte County with unsolved murders, criminal love triangles, and political corruption of the worst kind walking among the headstones.

Natalie Crist and Christopher Balzano hit several locations to introduce themselves to the spirits before heading to where they are buried to try and uncover who might be haunting the location.   From Marshall John Bowman to Ma McGraw and her men, the suspects speak out looking for help and a bit of alcohol.

Listen to the episode where we give you the background of the suspect list and a breakdown of some of the history of the location:

Episode 52…Murder, Ma, and Moonshine at Indian Springs

Sometimes the history of a haunting is more bizarre than the ghosts themselves. There are things that walk the rows in Indian Springs Cemetery in Punta Gorda, Florida, but you can’t sorting out who might be making an appearance without coming across some of the darkest secrets and sketchiest characters in Southwest Florida’s history.

Trippers Natalie Crist and Christopher Balzano break down the suspect list, including a dead policeman, a young girl who may be destined to haunt two different locations, and a love triangle whose fingers might be in all the other stories.

Thank you to Richie Ferrara for bringing us the lead on Indian Springs and History’s Mysteries of Southwest Florida for much of the research mentioned in the show.
